This photo is one my sister took the other day downtown in front of the old Assay Office on Main St. She said there may have been about a dozen deer. They must know there is no hunting in town.
Wow, great photo. I once saw a deer in a city park not far from here but it was around 6.10 am and would most likely have been long gone when most people were up and about. I walked through the park most mornings that time of day to get the train to the office and only ever say the one deer and this was before I got the camera bug.

That's amazing that you have deer running around town. We'd never have any kangaroos hopping about!
