Something I have not seen in a long time. With everyone now with mobile phones pay phone are become an endangered item.

Shell

It has been cold here and I haven't been out to take many pictures.  So I started going through some old slides that my grandfather took.  Shell gas station I do not know the year but the car might give a hint.

More Snow

 Just as the last snow fall started to melt we get more snow today.

Yellow House

Cute little yellow house.  Seems like the houses they are building now are big McMansions rather than small homes like this.

Green Moss

 I find it amazing that moss can grow in so many different places.  Here it is growing in the spaces between paving blocks but it grows on roofs, fences, trees, rocks, and so many other places and in an environment that only gets 25cm (10") of rain a year.

Veggies

Went to the new Whole Foods in town and the Vegetables do look good.

From some old slides I found in the basement.  Winter on the south fork of the Payette River.  These men are clearing the road with shovels and a lot of hard work.   archives early 1950's or late 1940's ?

Theme Day: My Street

December's theme is, My Street.   My street goes from the river to the foothills in about 12 city blocks and has two parks and is crossed by two sections of the bike path/ greenbelt.  

Yellow Fruit

Just thought it looked cool the bright yellow fruit on an otherwise gray day.

Just an alley in the neighborhood.  The blue bins are for recycling and the grey bins for trash.

I thought the refection off the glass was cool when I use a polarized filter, magenta.
