Spring Snow

The started out rainy and 6˚C but as the day continued the temperature dropped 1˚C with snow about 3cm none sticking to the roads.

Yield to Trees

Trees are important in Boise, Les Bois, and where possible they are saved.  Here the side walk yields to the trees and goes around.

City Deer

This photo is one my sister took the other day downtown in front of the old Assay Office on Main St.  She said there may have been about a dozen deer.   They must know there is no hunting in town. 

Wet Snow

Had a wet snow last night it was warm enough that it mostly melted on the streets and walks but cold enough to cover trees and the cars.  Table Rock in back ground.

Chilled Grapes

Our first dusting of snow.   Winter seems to be coming even if I am not ready.

The High Bridge

This is also know as the High Bridge on the way to Idaho City.  
  Which is the correct spelling of the name Mores Creek or Moores Creek.  I think it is Moore's  as in C.W. Moore (Christopher Wilkinson Moore 1835-1916) founder of Idaho first National Bank.

Post Office

The back of the Borah Post Office branch in downtown Boise.  The back of the building looks almost as good as the front.

Duck & Mud Hen

Took a walk up Cottonwood Creek and saw this small group,  ducks and a mud hen

PaddleBoats

The end of the season for the park's paddle boats.  The boats are lined up and chained up. 

Ash Tree

Ash tree in fall colors.  I think it is a Fraxinus americana or white ash.

NightLight

I went out last night to see if i was able to see the northern lights.  I did not see them I think we are too far south and have too much light pollution from town.   Not being able to the northern lights I took this shot of the lights of Boise as I was coming back home.

Syringa
