The Egyptian Theater

On the corner of Main and Capitol is the Egyptian Theater.  Build in 1927 in the architectural style popularized by the 1922 discovery of King Tut's tomb.

Trip to the Greenhouse

Needed to chase the winter blues away.  A trip to Edwards GH

Boise River Diversion Dam

 7 miles southeast of Boise on the Boise River. The dam diverts water into the New York Canal which feeds Lake Lowell and the Deer Flat Wildlife Refuge.  Built in 1909

Winter water flow on the Boise River.  

Water is held back in upstream reservoirs during the winter and early spring for later use in the summer.

At Lucky Peak State Park Discovery Park Unit I found this little birdhouse.

No one was home.  Maybe in the Spring.
