Table Rock located just east of downtown Boise raises about 1000 feet (304 m) above town. A good place for hiking and climbing with a good trail system. Several antennas and towers are located at the summit that are used by cell phone companies as well as city, state, and federal agencies.

Dad's neighbors pool. The pools looks so inviting on cold frosty mornings with the stream rising for the hot water. The neighbors heat their home with natural hot water then what's left over heats the pool. Many homes and business in downtown area are heated by natural hot water.

A winter thunder storm rolled through last night with wind and rain along with the lighting. The neighbors 70 year old oak tree was hit by lighting which blasted a section of the tree right off and through a window. Other than the tree seen here and the window no one was hurt.

It is that time of year for the sprinklers to be flushed with air, blown out, to remove any water left in them. The pipe might freeze and break if the water is not removed for the sprinkler lines. As the high pressure air is pumped through the pipes a mist of water and air come out the sprinkler heads and if the temperature is right like here a low fog forms.
